The whole weaving process includes winding, warping, sizing, drawing-in, weaving, and finishing, of which the most critical is the weaving process. Weaving is the process in which the machine drives the yarn to bend around and cross-wrap regularly to form a piece with a stable structure, and a loom must be used. Modern loom mainly includes shuttle loom and shuttleless loom, with the development needs of the times, the current use of more rapier loom. What are the common problems in the use of rapier looms? Suntech would like to share with you some general knowledge about the use of rapier looms.(try suntech rapier loom)
1、What is the effect of opening shed time on the quality of fabric?
When the opening time is early, the shed is clear and there will be fewer weaving faults. However, when the shuttle is opened early and the closure is also early, the rapier is more powerful in squeezing the warp yarn, and the fabric and warp yarn are easy to be lost at the edge. Open shuttle time late, shuttle mouth clarity is poor, easy to cause fabric edge of the three jump defects, but due to open and close late, rapier on the warp yarn extrusion is relatively less.
2, how to set the waste side of the small heald frame leveling time?
The leveling time of the waste side of the small heald frame on rapier weaving machines should be 25°-30° earlier than in plain weaving to ensure that the weft is clamped before the rapier shuttle is released, instead of backing up to the fabric falling off and causing the weft to shrink.
3. In the operation diagram of a rapier weaving machine, why does the rapier lead time occupy more degrees than the shuttle weaving machine in the shuttle flight?
The shuttle weaving machine usually starts picking the shuttle before it goes down the center. By the time the center back is in, the shuttle is already in the opposite shuttle box. The shuttle takes up about 120° of flight. When the rapier loom is at 62°, the slice shuttle head enters the shuttle opening. It takes about 300° for the weaver to retreat and the rapier moves about 240° in the shuttle opening. Since the rapier weaving machine is fast, the feeding and take-up of the piece shuttle move in opposite directions, one stroke at a time. To ensure stable delivery of the weft yarn, the running speed must be reduced accordingly. Therefore, more time is needed for the rapier in the shuttle.
4. Why do the rapier belt and rapier head squeeze the warp yarn during the weft guiding process?
To ensure a smooth handover of the weft yarn, the rapier needs a longer traverse time in the shuttle, but the opening time of the shuttle must not be too long, because a longer standstill time means a shorter heald frame movement time. Thus, the acceleration of the heald frame movement increases, and the impact will be high, which is not good for the stability of the weaving machine. Therefore, when the shuttle belt and the shuttle head have not left the shuttle opening, the heald frame has already started to close and the shuttle and the shuttle belt will have a serious squeeze on the closed warp yarn.
5. Why does the rapier weaving machine stop in the weft direction for no reason? How can it be corrected?
One reason is that there are flying hairs in the weft clamps, or the clamping force is too small. Another reason is that the sensitivity of the piezoelectric ceramic sensor is too high. Can be corrected by cleaning the weft clip, adjusting the clamping force, adjusting down the sensitivity of the piezoelectric ceramic sensor, etc.
It can be seen that whether the rapier loom runs smoothly or not is related to the start and duration of certain operation steps, how to best configure the articulation time and duration of each step? You open consider hiring a technical manager who understands the process and is experienced, or purchase an intelligent rapier loom, match the corresponding operation flow and process flow time through the artificial intelligence automation system, optimally set the time and procedure of each process, timely adjust the parameters according to the actual situation, solve the weaving production problems and improve production efficiency.(loom machine)
At present, Suntech has been comparing a large amount of operation data to the process problems in the weaving process, making experience summaries, and with the support of process data, optimally setting the time interval and articulation between each process of the rapier loom, launching ST-ERL-808-ULTRAFAST808 Ultrafast Start Rapier Loom, which can not only speed up the weaving speed, but also improve the stiffness of the weft warping mechanism, increase the weft pressing force, and effectively reduce weft breakage. TheST-ERL-808-ULTRAFAST808 rapier loom not only speeds up weaving, but also increases the stiffness of the weft warping mechanism, increases the weft compression force, allows automatic weft finding and effectively reduces weft breakage, and allows the machine to perform the most difficult tasks even with limited operator skills and management.
The maximum speed of this rapier loom can reach 800 rpm, and the stable speed can reach 550-660 rpm, which ensures product quality and brings economic benefits to the enterprise. It is also suitable for weaving conventional fabrics such as cotton, hemp, wool, silk, and chemical fibers, as well as special industrial fiber fabrics such as glass fiber, metal fiber, and basalt fiber, which can be flexibly adapted to all kinds of fabrics.
The equipment adopts the motor drive, heavy-duty special steel, and solid beam and base imported from Spain, which is of high quality and ensures the stability of rapier gripper and rapier tape under high-speed operation, which is more guarantee for weaving quality. Compared with traditional weaving machines, this kind of weaving machine can save 15%-20% of power consumption.
Suntech, as a veteran machinery manufacturer, has a deep technical background and can provide loom technical support and perfect after-sales service to ensure the normal installation and operation of the equipment, saving customers' time for installation and commissioning, ensuring that the equipment matches the product and allowing production to run normally, welcome to ask for more information.
