Problems and improvements of rapier looms on the market (2)
On the market, rapier looms generally suffer from holster wear, which affects the normal operation of the entire loom. Therefore, the modification of the belt pulley bushing will greatly reduce the maintenance workload.
The triangle belt disc of the ordinary rapier loom is connected with the sucker of the electromagnetic clutch. When the loom is unloaded, the sucker is disconnected from the electromagnetic clutch, and the copper bushing on the belt disc and the shaft bushing produce relative frictional movement. Usually a company's rapier loom has been used for more than ten years, and the copper bushings and shaft bushings have shown varying degrees of wear. When the degree of wear of the copper bushing and the shaft bushing is too large, the belt pulley will swing from side to side, which will aggravate the wear of the copper bushing. In severe cases, the copper bushing will generate heat and even damage the electromagnetic clutch.
For this reason, with years of work and practical experience, SUNTECH has modified the copper bushing and shaft bushing of the belt pulley. First, remove the copper bushing, shaft bushing and tension connection sleeve assembly, and process a bearing jacket according to the outer diameter of the pre-purchased 6210RS rolling bearing, so that the outer diameter is transitionally matched with the inner diameter of the belt pulley, and the inner diameter is the same as that of 6210RS. The outer diameter of the bearing has a transition fit. Then process a bearing inner sleeve to make its inner diameter dynamically fit with the bending shaft, and its outer diameter is transitional fit with the 6210RS bearing inner diameter. The inner sleeve of the bearing is fixed on the bent shaft with two screws.
Starting in 2018, SUNTECH will use the modified belt pulleys on all of the company's 1,000 ST-808 rapier looms. So far, all machines have not experienced any failures, which has played a positive role in improving the quality and reducing consumption of the company and reducing the labor intensity of equipment maintenance personnel.
