The weaving process refers to the process in which two sets of yarns forming a fabric product through a certain regular rule, the fabric product is made of two sets of mutually perpendicular yarns.

Methods of Weft Insertion
Weaving machine can be categorized into shuttle looms and shuttleless looms according to the difference between the weft insertion methods.
There are various ways of weft insertion for shuttleless looms, such as jet (air jet, water jet), multi-shed,weaving machine, rapier, projectile and so on. The jet weft insertion is to use air or water flow to insert the weft yarn through the shed, and the rapier weft insertion is to use flexible rapier belts,clamping and guiding the weft yarn. The weft insertion of the gripper is to hold the weft with a small gripper with a clip, and project the weft insertion. It can form multiple sheds on the loom at the same time for multi-shed (multi-phase) weft insertion , and use multiple weft inserters to guide the weft yarn into the shed, which is a high-efficiency method of weft insertion and has a bright future.
The basic characteristic of these methods is separating the weft yarn from the shuttle, or carrying only the weft yarn approximately equivalent to the length of one weft insertion, by this mean, replacing the large and heavy shuttle with a small and light weft inserter so that reduce The height of the shed. It provides favorable conditions for high-speed weft inserting. And it makes the bobbin package can be directly used when supplying the weft yarn so that the loom can get rid of frequently supplying weft yarns, which is the biggest signification of improving the quality of the fabric products and the efficiency of the loom, also reducing defects.
Weaving Process
The loom needs to complete all the movements such as opening, weft insertion, beating up, let-off, and coiling when weaving fabrics. The specific process is: Firstly, the shed part completes the shedding movement. This step makes the warp yarn be divided into upper piece and lower piece by certain rule and forming a shed; Secondly, the weft insertion part guides the weft into the shed then the beating-up mechanism beats the guided weft into the loom shed. The next step is the let-off mechanism sends out the warp with a certain tension from the weaving shaft evenly and the take-up mechanism pulls the woven fabric away from the weaving fell at a certain rate, and takes up the fabric. These 5 main steps of weaving are called five movements of loom. Additionally, there are a series of assistance mechanisms and devices provided by a loom for improving weaving performance, ensuring the smooth progress of the above-mentioned main movements and also preventing weaving defects and damage to working parts when in a weaving process. For example, the start-up braking mechanism, the color selection mechanism, the loom transmission mechanism and weft supply (storage/filling) mechanism, the selvage mechanism, also the electrical control mechanism, warp protection device, weft finding device, and weaving gap control device. Daily Maintenance
During the weaving process, the maintenance of the machinery and equipment is always important for long-term use and first-class product guaranteed. Basically, it refers to the key equipment cleaning,maintenance and refueling. The operator should have a inspection of the opening part, length measuring part, water pump, hemming part, wire end processing and warp feeding parts in a regular time. Also to main the scissors and the coiling parts of the loom according to related maintenance rules.
1. Focus on checking and correcting the main mechanisms that closely related to fabric quality and the items that affect the normal operation of the main mechanisms. Repairing and replacing worn-our part that beyond the specified limit, ensuring that the equipment is in normal and good condition.
2. The cleaning is mainly about to clean and refuel the whole machine and overhaul some small mechanical problems. Checking the wear and tear of parts, ensuring that the equipment is in good condition.
3. Finding out the abnormal state of the mechanism when operating by listening,smelling,seeing or touching. Overhaul the machine with the combination of operator’s feedback, then check and making sure the machine is in a good condition.
4. Regular oiling work must be carried out to eliminate abnormal wear of the parts and to make the machine run under normal lubrication conditions.
